Sussex Heritage Trust Awards 2023

Earlier today, the Sussex Heritage Trust (SHT) held a lunch to announce the winners of the SHT Awards 2023. While I couldn't attend this myself due to prior commitments, my old boss, Architect David Kemp of DK Architects Ltd, attended on behalf of the entire practice. It was during this lunch that two projects I had the pleasure of working on won a Highly Commended Certificate for their retrospective categories. Due to my contributions to the projects, I was listed as the Architectural Assistant on these awards alongside my colleagues.

It is an amazing feeling to be listed on these awards and to see that the hard work that the practice put into both of these heritage projects really paid off. It was fun to work with the clients and contractors on these projects and to see them progress through the various stages of design.

I hope these are the first of many architectural accomplishments in my architecture career.
